Aftersales Advisor

Pukekohe Toyota, part of the Manukau Toyota Group, is looking for an Aftersales Advisor to join their busy, customer-focused aftersales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous dealership or automotive service advising experience who is looking to further develop their career with New Zealand's leading Toyota dealer network.

Working alongside a supportive team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth coordination of vehicle servicing and repairs.

The Role

As an Aftersales Advisor, you'll be the main point of contact for customers throughout their service journey. You'll work closely with the workshop, parts department and customers to ensure a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off through to collection.

This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Toyota standards
  • Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and maintenance
  • Communicating repair requirements and service recommendations to customers
  • Liaising with technicians and the parts department to ensure efficient workflow
  • Providing customers with updates throughout the repair process
  • Preparing service documentation, invoices and vehicle handovers
  • Assisting with warranty and service administration
  • Building strong relationships with both new and returning customers

About You

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor or similar customer facing automotive role
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant automotive industry experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • Professional presentation and a positive attitude
  • Experience within a dealership environment would be advantageous
