Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, steering and suspension faults
- Carry out vehicle servicing and preventative maintenance
- Complete repairs and maintenance to a high standard
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
- Perform brake repairs, inspections and general workshop repairs
- Ensure vehicles are completed within required timeframes while maintaining quality workmanship
- Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent outcomes for customers
About You
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Automotive Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience servicing and repairing a range of vehicle makes and models
- Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Current New Zealand Driver Licence
- Full New Zealand working rights
