Farmer Autovillage is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician, ideally with your WOF cert, to join its Service team based in Mount Maunganui.

The Role
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing petrol, diesel and electric vehicles
- Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical and electrical issues
- Carrying out WOF inspections
- Completing repairs and maintenance to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Working efficiently to meet agreed workshop timeframes
- Identifying additional work required and communicating this through the Service team
- Keeping accurate job card and repair information
- Keeping up to date with new vehicle systems and technology through ongoing training
About You
- 4+ years’ automotive trade experience
- A relevant automotive qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A current WOF authority, or ideally working towards gaining this
- A current full NZ driver licence
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- The existing right to live and work in New Zealand
Experience with European vehicles would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
