With established branches in Canterbury and a growing reputation for reliable service and strong customer relationships, Diesel-Tech Machinery is now looking to expand further into Southland.

About the Opportunity
This is not your typical role, it’s a joint venture-style role suited to a technician who already has existing customers, strong local connections, and the motivation to grow their own operation.
While Diesel-Tech Machinery has some existing work in the region, the real opportunity lies in combining your current workload with incoming business, creating a sustainable and scalable operation.

The Role
- Provide on-site servicing, maintenance, and breakdown support for agricultural and rural machinery
- Support an existing Southland sales presence
- Respond to breakdowns and keep customers operational
- Build and maintain strong local relationships
- Manage your own workflow while collaborating with the wider Diesel-Tech team
- Play a key role in establishing and growing the Southland operation
About You
- Experienced Field Service Technician (ideally agricultural)
- Based in Southland (Gore, Invercargill or surrounding areas)
- Already servicing clients OR well connected locally
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Customer-focused with a practical, can-do attitude
- Keen to grow something long-term
