National Fleet Manager

Muster are partnering with Snap to recruit their National Fleet Manager, to lead the strategic direction, optimisation, and performance of a large and growing national vehicle fleet.
Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end fleet lifecycle — from procurement and onboarding through to utilisation, maintenance, compliance, and disposal.
You’ll work closely with the CEO, CFO, Senior Data & Insights Analyst, Branch Managers, and international stakeholders, ensuring fleet availability supports revenue, customer experience, and long-term asset value.
This role will suit someone who is commercially focused and structured, with strong fleet, asset, or vehicle lifecycle management experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the national fleet strategy, including acquisition, specification, onboarding, imports, lifecycle planning, and growth forecasting
- Lead all procurement and disposal activity, negotiating with OEMs, dealers, suppliers, auction houses, and international stakeholders to optimise cost and residual value
- Drive fleet utilisation and commercial performance, partnering with finance and data teams
- Monitor and report on key fleet KPIs including utilisation, uptime, claims performance, repair SLAs, and asset value
- Provide national leadership to Fleet Coordinators and mechanical teams, setting clear processes, policies, and performance standards across the network
- Build and manage strong relationships with repairers, insurers, and service partners to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Ensure all vehicles meet maintenance, safety, and compliance standards
About You
- Senior fleet management experience - rental, leasing, distribution, corporate, or similar
- Strong understanding of vehicle values, lifecycle planning, and resale markets
- Experience working with CFOs, data analysts, and executive leadership
- Confidence managing procurement and disposal at scale
- The ability to lead nationally without needing to be hands-on mechanically
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including international collaboration
- A mechanical background is not required, but a solid understanding of vehicle models, asset values, and fleet economics is essential
