Operations Manager – Retail Dealership Network

Honda New Zealand is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support its Auckland retail network, working closely with dealership teams to drive operational excellence, improve customer experience, and deliver consistent business performance.
Reporting to the Retail General Manager – Auckland Stores, this is a hands-on, multi-site role where you'll work across sales, service, parts, and administration functions to support dealership performance, improve operational processes, and help drive consistency across the Auckland network.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of multiple Auckland dealership locations
- Drive consistency and efficiency across sales, service, parts, and administration functions
- Monitor and report on key operational and financial performance indicators
- Provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Support budgeting, cost control, and operational performance reviews
- Assist with health and safety compliance, building maintenance, and site administration
- Conduct operational reviews and support audit readiness across dealership locations
- Lead or contribute to projects focused on improving systems, processes, and customer experience
- Build strong relationships with dealership teams and internal Honda stakeholders
About You
- Previous experience in retail, automotive, dealership, or multi-site operations
- A solid understanding of sales, service, and parts environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPI reporting
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive change
- Financial awareness and experience monitoring operational performance
- Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple teams and locations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management systems
