Parts Manager

Macaulay Motors is seeking an experienced automotive Parts professional to lead our Queenstown Parts Department and play a key role in the continued success of our dealership.

As Parts Manager, you will take ownership of the department's day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team while ensuring outstanding service delivery to both internal and external customers.

You'll work closely with the wider dealership team to drive performance, maintain efficient stock management, and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.

About the Role

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the Parts team
  • Managing inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Driving departmental performance, profitability, and efficiency
  • Providing exceptional service to retail, trade, and internal customers
  • Working collaboratively with the Service and Sales departments
  • Monitoring and improving processes to maximise productivity
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock availability
  • Supporting workplace health and safety initiatives
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction across all interactions

About You

  • Previous experience within automotive parts operations
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Sound inventory management and stock control experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
  • The ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and achieving results
