Senior Aftersales Advisor

Papakura Toyota, part of the Manukau Toyota Group, is seeking a Senior Aftersales Advisor to join their busy service team.

This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for an experienced Toyota professional who can step in confidently, support the aftersales team, and maintain the high standards that their customers expect and uphold the reputation Papakura Toyota has built over decades.

This is a key appointment for their business and an opportunity for the right person to make an immediate impact.

The Role

You’ll be a critical link between customers, workshop, parts department and external partners. You’ll bring strong Toyota systems knowledge, technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex service and warranty processes with confidence.

This role requires someone who understands the bigger picture of aftersales — not just booking vehicles in, but managing workflow, warranty, parts coordination and customer expectations at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Toyota standards
  • Acting as the senior point of contact within the service department
  • Managing warranty claims accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinating closely with parts and tyre departments
  • Advising customers on repairs, maintenance and preventative servicing
  • Supporting technicians with clear job instructions and technical communication
  • Ensuring smooth invoicing and professional vehicle handovers
  • Maintaining strong workflow management across the workshop

About You

  • 4–5+ years’ experience as a Toyota Service Advisor
  • Strong knowledge of Toyota systems and processes
  • Proven experience handling Toyota warranty claims
  • Confidence working within a busy franchise environment
  • Understanding of parts operations
  • Experience dealing with insurance companies
  • Technical background in the trade
