Used Vehicle Sales Manager

Are you a driven automotive sales leader with a passion for trading, team development, and delivering outstanding results?

Manukau Toyota, part of the Manukau Toyota Group, New Zealand’s largest Toyota dealership group and 100% NZ owned and operated, is searching for an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead one of its most successful sales operations.

The Role

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing used vehicle sales team
  • Drive sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction outcomes
  • Manage stock acquisition, appraisals, pricing, and inventory strategy
  • Maximise vehicle turn and gross profit opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong industry relationships to support vehicle sourcing and trading activity
  • Oversee vehicle presentation, merchandising, and forecourt standards
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute used vehicle sales strategies
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the department remains competitive

About You

  • Proven experience leading a successful used vehicle sales operation
  • Strong trading ability with excellent market knowledge
  • Existing industry relationships and networks would be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate sales teams to achieve results
  • Commercially astute with strong stock management and pricing skills
  • Highly organised with excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Energetic, hands-on, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment
