Wheel Alignment Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Wheel Alignment & Tyre Technician to join their small, friendly team in Avondale.
This is a hands-on role offering a great mix of wheel alignments and tyre work across a wide range of vehicles including passenger cars, SUVs, vans, utes and 4WDs.

- Variety of work with approximately 8-12 wheel alignments completed each day across the workshop
Responsibilities include
- Carrying out accurate wheel alignments to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnosing alignment and suspension-related issues
- Fitting, balancing and repairing tyres
- Performing puncture repairs
- Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service and advice
- Assisting with tyre sales and recommending suitable products where appropriate (training provided)
About you
- At least 5 years' experience in wheel alignments and tyre fitting within New Zealand
- Strong wheel alignment diagnostic skills
- A full, clean NZ Driver Licence
- Excellent spoken English and communication skills
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test, complete a Ministry of Justice background check, and provide two recent work references.
