Technical Parts & Sales Specialist - East Tamaki

We are looking for a Parts & Sales Specialist to work with a well-established trailer parts company based in East Tamaki. This is a customer facing role as well as being industry focused and will suit a driven truck/trailer technician looking for the next step in their career or a truck/trailer sales executive looking for a new challenge.

This is a 360⁰ role covering all aspects of the business. As a Parts & Sales Specialist, your duties will be the following;

• All customer calls & orders
• Advise customers on parts requirements
• Inventory management including wholesaler ordering
• Advise customers on technical aspects of trailer design & production
• Warehouse management
• Parts sales and advice as and when required
• Maintain warranty processes
• Coordinate and process all sales & orders

Our client is part of a Global Network of Trailer Parts Manufacturers and is looking for the right candidate to join the family. This will be a hands-on role and would be ideal for anyone with a truck/trailer background who is looking to get off the tools and into the customer-focused arena.

For this role you will need;

• Previous mechanical experience

OR

• Previous knowledge of truck & trailer parts
• Strong, decisive customer service skills
• Transport Industry related qualification highly regarded
• Open New Zealand drivers license
• Forklift License & MAF container qualifications highly regarded.
