Our client, a large automotive importer and distributor are on the hunt for a new Finance Administrator.

You will be tasked with supporting the finance team in providing a control system designed to deliver accurate, relevant & timely financial information to an industry leading standard.

The successful person should demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ever changing environment. High performance is a given as is a positive and 'can-do' attitude.

Building strong relationships with both internal and external parties is imperative to the success of this role. You will need to be confident in being able to keep up with the dynamic and agile team. Communication of relevant and timely financial information is crucial to the future success of the business.

You will be expected to pick up extra duties based on your strengths as you get familiar with the role, there may be an opportunity for someone who is currently working towards a CA qualification.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with timely and accurate recording of vehicle documentation and transactions
  • Purchase order checks
  • Following up on overdue invoices
  • Maintaining payment journals
  • Maintaining weekly and monthly reports
  • Reconciliations
  • Invoicing direct and fleet vehicles
  • Maintaining shipping checklists and receipting
  • General AP /AR administration

Skills Required:

  • Administration experience (financial background preferable)
  • You must be highly organised
  • Motor industry background is highly desirable
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Strong computer skills (specifically Excel)
  • The ability to multitask efficiently
