RV Super Centre Sales & Service Manager - Christchurch

RV Super Centre based in Christchurch is owned and operated by Tourism Holdings Limited (THL) who are New Zealand's premium tourism company as well as being the largest provider of holiday vehicles for rent globally.

In New Zealand and Australia THL operate under the Maui, Britz and Mighty rental brands providing high quality motorhomes to the tourism market as well as operating the Kiwi Experience offering unique exhilarating memorable experiences throughout the country.

The Role

THL are looking for a Sales and Service Manager who can drive the business forward and lead by example.

This person will need to hold automotive technical experience having worked in a busy workshop environment, as well as having excellent leadership skills to raise productivity and efficiency.

On the sales side you will also need to understand the sales process and help the team maximise on all opportunities whilst strategically carrying out marketing campaign within the local area.

Added to these pivotal parts of the role you will be responsible for operations, profitability of the branch and monthly reporting.

This role will require you to understand the operations of a large corporate business whilst using your interpersonal skills to grow and enhance a close-knit productive team. You will be responsible for bringing vehicles into stock, having them prepared for sale as well as running a busy retail and trade workshop.

Requirements and experience


  • Automotive workshop management experience
  • Understanding of workflow, productivity and efficiency
  • Ability to lead, develop and motivate staff
  • Manage existing customer relations and enhance revenue streams
  • Ensure all technical problems are resolved ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ability to prioritise warranty, service, repair and refurb work
