Specialist Automotive Parts Branch Manager - Nelson

Our client is looking for a Branch Manager to take the helm of their high-performing automotive outlet in Nelson.

With an extensive range of products and an unparalleled reputation within the Automotive, Marine and Commercial industries, this role has huge potential for the right candidate to make a name for themselves.

In this position you will manage all aspects of the business - operations, stock, logistics, Health & Safety, as well as grow and develop existing accounts.

About you

  • At least 2 years' experience in Branch Management or Assistant Branch Management
  • Be driven, personable and empathetic
  • Have a hunters attitude and thrive on success
  • Solid understanding of merchandising and stock management
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Detail orientated
  • Have a desire to be recognised and make a positive change
  • Focus on opportunities where others see problems

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Capture and build new business in the wider Nelson Area
  • Train and develop your team in line with company visions and values
  • Promote a positive team environment to maximise sales
  • Lead from the front and provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure that budget is achieved or exceeded
  • Effectively manage all aspects of staffing
  • Build positive relationships with all customers and suppliers
  • Manage inventory and stock levels within company guidelines

In this role, you will be the face of the business.

Your experience in sales and business development will enable you to run a profitable business and will remunerate you accordingly.

You will report directly to the National Operations Manager, who will give you complete autonomy to run the branch as you see fit, providing all operational procedures are met.
