Territory Business Development Manager - Palmerston North

Our client is looking for a true hunter to become their new Territory Business Development Manager, based in Palmerston North.

They are a well-established Automotive Parts and Equipment outlet with a fantastic reputation. This role will see you looking after their key accounts as well as getting out on the road sourcing and signing new clients.

You will be paid well, given the tools required to get the job done and the freedom to create your own call cycles/plans.

About You

This role requires a candidate that has prior parts/equipment knowledge within the industry, the capability to close a deal and have a real desire to succeed.

You will enjoy working in a competitive market and hold the ability to step into a management role as the business expands.

Requirements for the role

  • Be a hunter and have the nose for closing a deal
  • Automotive sales experience, preferably in parts
  • Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales targets
  • Ability to communicate at every level
  • Maintain and strengthen current client accounts
  • Be able to work autonomously
  • Plan and execute call cycles and visits
  • Assist with promotional campaigns and point of sale material
