Automotive Assistant Branch Manager - Thames

Our client is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to help lead the high-performing team of their automotive parts outlet in Thames.

With a huge range of products and an unparalleled reputation within the automotive industry, these positions are highly sought after and regularly lead to more senior roles within the organisation.

In this role you will help lead the team to reach their targets as well as oversee the branch as and when required.

Your attention to detail, customer-focused attitude and sales experience will help grow the branch and enhance its already stellar reputation.

About you

  • At least 3 years' experience in the automotive parts industry
  • Driven, personable & empathetic
  • Previous experience in supervisory or senior position
  • Solid understanding of merchandising and stock management
  • Detail orientated
  • Previous product marketing experience highly regarded

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed at all times
  • Train & develop your team in line with Company visions and values
  • Promote a positive team environment to maximise sales
  • Lead from the front and present a professional front in all activities
  • Build positive relationships with all customers and suppliers
  • Manage inventory and stock levels within company guidelines
  • Assist the Branch Manager with all requirements

In this role, you will be 2iC and will be given the autonomy and freedom to ensure you succeed. Your experience in automotive parts and sales will enable you to help run a profitable business and will remunerate you accordingly.

You will report directly to the Branch Manager, to ensure that all company guidelines are followed. As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will be in charge of team performance and will be responsible for helping them reach their targets.
