The Role

Due to continued growth in New Zealand, GWM Haval Motors New Zealand is looking to recruit a Dealer Operations Manager.

The primary function of the Dealer Operations Manager is to fully support the dealer network and help maximise sales whilst maintaining operational excellence.

This role will have you forecast stock ordering, product and sales training, customer management, dealer visits and developing a strong business partnership with the dealer network to deliver a profitable business model built on growth, throughput and customer satisfaction.

Role Specifics

  • Support the dealer network in a rapidly growing market
  • Retail and wholesale planning and forecasting
  • Develop and deliver dealer development plans
  • Increase sales through collaborative action plans
  • Deliver the voice of the dealer and customer to the business
  • Review partner performances and profitability
  • Implement best practices and increase customer satisfaction
  • Stock ordering, tracking, forecasting and allocation
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly call cycles for the dealer network
  • Analyse the market and maximise opportunities

About you

  • Sound knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Understanding of dealerships and the operations within
  • Hold strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Be strategic and innovative
  • Ability to manage conflict and build relationships
  • High attention to detail and planning
  • Be results driven and understand financials
  • Ability to travel throughout New Zealand
  • Enjoy selling with customer satisfaction in mind
