Sales Manager

Lexus of Hawkes Bay part of the Hawke's Bay Toyota Group require a Sales Manager to head up their luxury car brand. If you believe you are a proven sales professional from the automotive trade, we would like to hear from you.

Being part of an award-winning group, Lexus of Hawkes Bay has been the market leader for over 30 years in the area and enjoyed being awarded dealer of the year four times in the past seven years. Off the back of their continued success and growth, they are seeking a proven Sales Manager who has the capability to lead from the front and drive sales.

In this role you will have the desirable prospect of moving into a New standalone luxury showroom selling the next generation of electrified Lexus luxury vehicles that are due to arrive from 2022.

The Lexus brand is a result of a passionate pursuit of perfection coupled with quality, luxury and style, your role will be to showcase and maximise sales across Hawkes Bay, Taupo, Rotorua and Gisborne.

The successful candidate will need to have a proven franchise Sales Management background, enjoy leading from the front, have the ability, passion and desire to drive sales whilst providing everyday professional customer service.

The Role

  • Achieve new, used and F&I targets
  • Adhere to Lexus standards and sales protocols
  • Prospect existing and conquest customers
  • Ensure the showroom display and facilities are to brand and company standards
  • Report on sales and P&L to CEO
  • Keep up to date with online leads and multimedia advertising
  • Introduce the new range of HEV, PHEV and BEV vehicles to prospective customers
  • Keep up to date with all Lexus technology and capabilities
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience expected of a luxury brand ensuring CSI objectives are achieved

About You

  • Ability to create a positive culture with a compact team to ensure individual success
  • Have a proven automotive Sales background
  • Be a team player and natural leader
  • High level of communication skills and attention to detail
  • Understand and appreciate the luxury customer
  • Anticipate and deliver on expectations
  • Ability to build rapport and guide customers towards a sale
  • Be well presented in line with the brand
  • Motivated by working with a high degree of autonomy
