The Company

Inspire Growth Partners (IGP) is a data driven digital marketing agency, that works alongside some of the top leading automotive brands in New Zealand, to ensure that marketing and sales activities are carried out in a targeted and benchmark focused way.

The brands are Hyundai, Isuzu Utes and Renault.

They focus on delivering strategic targeted data analysis tailored to the relevant audience within their partners' businesses to enable them to make informed decisions around targeted marketing, sales and service retention and new automotive market opportunities.

The Role

IGP are recruiting a Senior Events Specialist to join the team.

The role will be reporting to the Sponsorships, Events & PR Manager and is responsible for planning, delivering and executing various events and promotions as part of the Group brands' marketing plans.

This role will deliver successful end to end management of small to large scale events and promotions while developing and maintaining a deep understanding of business processes and current best practice in event and marketing execution.

Responsibilities will include

  • End to end event management
    • Develop event plans and deliverables
    • Site visits
    • Collate RSVP's
    • Organise WIP meetings
    • Manage effective event marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Brand Specialist
    • Collaborate with vendors
    • Utilise event technology to support data strategy
  • On-the-day event management
  • Post event communication, reporting and analysis
  • Manage all event assets
  • Communicate and support dealerships with local events
  • Assess and manage promotional campaigns
  • Work within forecast and event budgets provided
  • Keep budget tracker up to date
  • Provide dealerships with support and advice on maximising their own local events
  • Manage event logistics of press launches
  • Manage promotional partners

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong event management experience of at least 5 years
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent computing skills specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
  • General understanding of sales and marketing
  • Able to work autonomously
