SKODA Planning and Sales Analyst

Our client, SKODA NZ is one of the most tradition-rich automobile makers in the world. They have been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1991 and today are one of the most successful automobile brands, offering nine model lines and having established a presence in more than 100 countries worldwide.

SKODA are well established in New Zealand and their dynamic range of vehicles are becoming more popular year on year and are also the vehicle of choice for New Zealand Police.

Being imported to New Zealand by European Motor Distributors (a Giltrap Group company) they pride themselves on their dealer partnership experience and know that their performance at retail level, is driven through their partnership and teamwork.

The Role

Due to growth of the SKODA NZ brand, they are on the hunt for a Planning and Sales Analyst to join the team based in Grey Lynn.

You will be responsible for the effective planning and ordering of SKODA products and responsible for the pipeline management of them to New Zealand. This includes the analysis, planning and reporting of the vehicle market.

More Detail

  • Responsible of the following topics for SKODA NZ and SKODA Auto:
    • production and sale planning
    • production quota management
    • sales forecasting and reporting
  • Ensuring model mix planning adequately reflects the volumes promised as part of individual products
  • Manage planning processes with SKODA AUTO, in line with our sales forecast to ensure optimal production
  • Sales and Stock reporting - update and review this document with Product and Sales Managers to ensure optimal planning, ordering and visibility
  • Order recommendations through analysis of profitability, leads, colour mix and option take rates
  • Setup of factory and importer ordering systems to ensure specification, order and pricing accuracy
  • Ordering of SKODA stock and customer vehicles for importer and dealers
  • Vehicle pipeline information control from production to shipping arrivals
  • Development of best practices for accurate information and visibility when changes occur
  • Co-ordination and supporting the SKODA team (Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, etc) in take to market planning up to and including the launch of SKODA models
  • Produce accurate market analysis reports
  • Completion and submission of timely factory reporting requirements
  • Emissions and Clean Car Reporting - responsible for tracking, reviewing and planning for SKODA NZ
  • Provide support to Product Manager as needed

About You

  • Solid automotive industry knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft products
  • Good communication skills and an ability to clearly present data to a team
