Workshop Controller/Foreman
Our client, a prestige franchise in Mount Wellington, Auckland, is looking for a Workshop Controller/Foreman to join their team.
This is a predominantly hands-off role that requires extensive technical experience.
The ideal candidate will be a workshop foreman or senior technician looking for a role that will keep them in a workshop but off the tools full-time. As the perfect candidate, you will bring your technical ability and workshop management experience to add to their already brilliant team.

For this role you will need
- Light Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Be a team player and lead by example
- Full driving license
- Previous workshop foreman/manager/controller experience preferred
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow, customer interaction and workshop productivity
- Firm understanding of budgeting & forecasting
- Ability to help with technical issues and diagnosis
- Candidates with WOF Certification would be advantageous
In this role you will be an integral piece of the machine that keeps everything running smoothly. You will connect the dots between the workshop, service department and most importantly the customers.
You will accurately estimate timeframes and workloads for all jobs that come through the workshop and ensure timelines are met.

- Your technicians are happy
- Budget is achieved/exceeded consistently
- Distributor satisfaction level is above national average
