Warehouse Assistant

Our client is looking for an experienced Parts/Warehouse Assistant to join their high-performing team in East Tamaki.

The right candidate will have experience with stock control and inventory management within a warehouse environment. They will also ideally, have worked in the automotive industry in a similar role.

You will be organised, professional and have unparalleled communication skills. This role will require you to ensure the smooth running of a busy parts warehouse and will include heavy lifting, devanning as well as customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling of inward and outward goods
• Picking, packing and invoicing
• Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential customers
• Stock data entry and record keeping
• Acting in accordance with good Health and Safety practices
• All warehousing duties as required

Job Requirements

• Hold a current Forklift Licence

• Clean Criminal record check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Reliable own transport
• You have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and presentable
• Health & Safety conscious
